    Questions people ask first

Short answers about your data, where prices come from and how booking works.

Do I need to share my airline passwords?

No. You type in your balances yourself. Milebook never asks for an airline or bank login.

Where do the award prices come from?

In this early version the planner uses a sample award chart that we maintain by hand. Live prices and seat status are in development. Always confirm on the airline site before you book or transfer.

Can I book a flight through Milebook?

No. Milebook shows you the best option and links you to the airline site, where you book with your own account.

    Which programs are covered?

Nine airline programs, including Air India Maharaja Club, IndiGo BluChip, KrisFlyer and Etihad Guest, plus HDFC Infinia, Axis Atlas and American Express Membership Rewards.

How are card transfers worked out?

When an airline balance falls short, the planner checks your card points and shows how many you would move, and at what ratio. Transfers usually cannot be reversed, so confirm the seat first.

Does it work for international flights?

Yes. Routes such as Delhi to London, Mumbai to Dubai and Delhi to New York are in the planner, where partner programs often price the same seat very differently.

    Where is my data stored?

In your browser only. Clearing your browser data removes it. Nothing is sent to a server.

    What does it cost?

The planner is free to use in its current form.
